One of the main functions of GASMAN is to
accurately calculate pressures and flow rates in each
component of your system. For wells, this is achieved
through a comprehensive well bore model and industry
standard pressure loss correlations for the production
tubing. The well bore model takes into account the localised
reservoir rock and fluid characteristics, average reservoir
pressure and any well bore damage and fracturing of the
reservoir identified by well tests.
The well model utilises a wide range of industry-standard
inflow and tubing performance correlations. The inflow
correlations include industry-standard vertical well,
horizontal well, IPR and Forchheimer. The GASMAN well tubing
performance correlations include Cullender-Smith (for
single-phase) and Grays (for pseudo two-phase).
This provides an accurate prediction of gas
deliverability at the well head over a wide range of
pressures for each well. |
