Office Location
MSE offices are located in Carshalton a small Surrey Town but with all the amenities of a large town; railway station with frequent trains to London ( Victoria 25 minutes) and South. Although located in a mature building it is being refurbished to higher standards.
Carshalton is famous for its two ponds and a very picturesque park with wildlife and the River Wandle, which flows through its midst. Excellent pubs and eating places are nearby. Carshalton enjoys a grammar school for girls ( St Philomena) and two more grammar schools are within close proximity. Modern accommodation realistically priced is available within walking distance.

Nature of Work
MSE provides engineering and consultancy to the oil and gas companies and specialises in the design and optimisation of oil and gas production facilities. This requires design & application, simulation and testing of turbo machinery including large centrifugal compressors and gas turbines together with the processing facilities.

Asset Integrity Group
The Asset Integrity group is being established to ensure that the equipment installed in the production facilities is performing to its design and does not suffer from excessive performance loss, which results in loss of production. The work would include testing and trouble shooting of large turbomachinery using MSE’s proprietatry software systems. You would be required to visit the project site from time to time to collect the data but bulk of the work would be carried out in our Carshalton Offices. The work is both varied and challenging and you will get many opportunities to use your initiatives and develop your professional & engineering skills.

Control & Dynamic Simulations
This group provides consultancy services for control and operational issues related to the oil and gas production facilities. This requires developing dynamic simulation models of the production facilities which incorporate process control for the start up, normal operation of the plant as well as simulating the process upset conditions and in particular developing surge control and surge protection systems for gas compressors.

MSE have fully developed proprietary dynamic simulation models which are used to model new production facilities and provide help and advice to our clients.
To work in this group you should have a degree in Mechanical, Process of Aero engineering preferably with an additional qualification in control engineering.
