MSE provides a full range of technical support for existing engines including legacy equipment which has been in operation for a number of years and cannot be replaced for practical or commercial reasons.

MSE has built many engine models over the past 20 years, this cumulative knowledge and design database is very helpful in determining the actual performance of the older engines. The engine performance can be enhanced with changes in technology, for example the introduction of new materials which allow higher firing temperatures and hence greater power or extended engine life, and other similar practical measures.

MSE works on behalf of customers to upgrade legacy engines and their controls to extend the operating life.
