Front End Design

Our experience with both process design and machinery specifications enables efficient optimisation of your process systems incorporating gas compression. We have been involved in process design and engineering and developed many process flow schemes, producing flow diagrams, heat/material balances, equipment lists and data sheets. 

Concept Design

MSE has performed many feasibility and concept design studies of new projects, including Shell's Pelican and Cormorant Alpha expansion project, Amoco's Indefatigable field upgrade and Shell's Leman Field Reconfigurations.

For larger project such Shell's Brent Field LPO, we worked as part of a larger team to optimise their gas production and compression systems.

We also audit elements of pre-FEED and FEED studies performed by others to provide a useful check and balance on your major projects.

Design & Specification of Long Lead Items

MSE's experience is particularly useful in the designing and ordering of long-lead items such as compressors, gas turbines and power generators. Our knowledge and expertise have helped save time, sometimes as much as six months, from a project schedule.
