Following the completion of a Concept Design, the project enters the detailed design phase. It is common practice to divide the detailed design into FEED or (Front End Engineering Design) followed by an EPC contract. The two activities are often performed by different companies. MSE has supported the detailed design stages in a variety of ways. Where MSE has been involved in the Concept Design, customers normally retain our services to support the FEED and EPC stages; this provides continuity and enables us to impart our project experience and machinery know-how to the contractors.
